The Gers and its surroundings offer a great variety of opportunities to enjoy yourself.

Go on beautiful walks in the woods or on the hillsides, or enjoy a wealth of sports such as golf, canoeing, horse riding, accrobranche and fishing. You could visit the zoo, the museums or go to an open air cinema. Stroll around authentic medieval villages and discover historical monuments and flea markets. Visit a wine or Armagnac cellar and sample the rich culinary heritage of the region. Or why not simply enjoy doing nothing and listen to the song of the cicada and the sound of the chattering frogs whilst reading a good book?

 

You can reach the beautiful town of Toulouse (the European capital of aeronautics) in under an hour. Get to the mountains in 2 hours and the Atlantic coast in 2 hours and a half... there are lots of day trip possibilities!

 

I am also geocacher. For those who know about this, i have set up a series of caches around the village. You will find that the Gers harbours plenty of beautiful and inventive caches all around. From a practical aspect,you will find a pharmacist and a doctor as well as some shops in Puycasquier, a small village 5Km from here. The town of Auch, 15 Km away, offers everything one can expect from a medium-sized town:  shopping malls, a hospital, a brand-new cinema, bars and  restaurants....
